Selena Gomez has a worldwide fame as an actress as well as a performer. The Disney film Wizards of Waverly Place, one of the largest projects she was a part of and achieved the greatest success, is her project. Selena Marie Gomez, her full title is. Selena played a role in numerous episodes from seasons 7 and 8 from 2001-2003. Fun fact: Selena is not the only performer to have appeared in Barney and his Friends at this time; Demi Lovato also was part of the team that starred in the series. Selena Gomez left the show and was auditioned for a variety of other films and programs, but did not have the most luck. The role she was offered was a minor one in the 2003 film Mini Spies 3 (Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over) and a different one as Julie in Walker Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire. Also, she was offered the role as Emily Grace Garcia in the 2005 Brain Zapped program for which she wrote a song.
