Selena Gomez is an internationally known actress and singer. Her involvement has included numerous projects, however the Disney show Wizards of Waverly Place has been the most successful. The full title of her name is Selena Marie Gomez. Born on the 22nd of July 1992 in Grand Prairie Texas. Amanda Cornett & Ricardo Gomez. Selena's mom was 16 an old when she was born. In the year 2009, she landed her first role in the show industry as Gianna in Barney and her Friends. So she was one of numerous children who played alongside Barney, the well-known human-like pink dinosaur. Selena was a part of several episodes from season 7 and 8 from 2001 and 2003. Fun fact: Demi Lovato, who was part of Barney's Friends at the time also, was a co-star with Selena. Selena Gomez, after she quit the show, tried to audition for a variety of movies and television shows. After the departure of the show Selena auditioned for roles in various other programs and films but was not very successful. Also, she was offered the character in the role of Emily Grace Garcia in the 2006 Brain Zapped program for which she wrote a song.
