Ina Garten is well-known American cookbook author as well as an Emmy award winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa it began in 2002, and has been aired for up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina started her career creating nuclear energy policies as well as budgets to the White House. Her first impression was that her job as stimulating intellectually, but then she lost interest, and purchased a tiny grocery store that was called Barefoot Contessa. The store was very successful throughout the 18 years that she decided to sell it. Then she began writing her first cookbook. Several other books and magazine articles followed.
