Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is a well-known American cook book writer and Emmy Award-winning host on Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which began in 2002 and aired up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina began her career working with the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and other policy documents. Though she found the career fascinating initially, in the end she stopped her pursuit and leased a small, boutique of specialty foods - Barefoot Contessa. After an entire 18-year period of making her store a huge success, she decided to sell it and started making her debut book. Other cookbooks followed, as magazines too. The Food Network TV show also began its first season with great hit. Her products range from the kitchen equipment, cooking and baking materials as well as storage containers. Ina is an untrained cook who has never attended any cooking classes, nor employed in a kitchen. She is known for her simple approach to making food and her unpretentious approach to entertainment. Her most well-known recipes are Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
