Ina-Garten
Ina Garden is an American author of cookbooks who has won Emmy Awards. Ina Garden hosts the oldest Food Network program, Barefoot Contessa. It premiered in 2002. It is scheduled to air for another 27 seasons. Ina began her career in creating nuclear energy policies as well as budgets of the White House. The first time she was able to find her profession to be intellectually stimulating, but eventually lost interest and purchased a quaint grocery store that was named Barefoot Contessa. After an entire 18-year period of making her shop a huge success she decided to sell it and started writing her first novel. Others followed, and so were magazine articles. Her Food Network TV show also debuted with great hit. In addition, she sells everything from cooking equipment to tools and storage containers. Ina has never been to any cookery school or worked in a restaurant and is completely self-taught. Her easy-going approach to hosting and her unassuming cooking style are well known. Some of her most popular recipes are Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
