Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the United States for the past forty years. Her most well-known role is for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). In the 1950s, she began her acting career on stage with Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. Then, in 1956 she made her big break with a performance on Broadway along with Li'l abner. She released her album It's Too Late for Tina the following year. Louise made her foray into Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's little Acre a drama film released 1958.The film was praised widely as well as Louise received her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In the course of this film, she was began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship with Lee Strasberg as his student. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work successfully with a variety of roles between Broadway television and Hollywood portraying somber characters as opposed to her image as an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's gained recognition as a producer on a variety of famous TV shows, including Supernatural. Her birth date was August 28, 1965 in Essex. As a young girl, 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of throughout her early years. Her home was in Vancouver after she was selected to play Samantha Carter.
